How do you choose the ads?
Ads are chosen with the help of a complex algorithm which is using the list of the keywords found in the page as a starting point.The script that you're integrating in each page provides a list of keywords extracted from the URL (address) and the TITLE, META “keywords” and META “description” tags of the page. Then, our robot will go through the page and will do an analysis of all of the keywords and will consider their repetition and position (title, subtitle, link, etc.).
Click-Through Ratio of every keyword (in general and specifically on this page) is used to choose the most relevant keywords. We then interrogate several sources (depending on the country and language of the visitor) to obtain ads, then we select the best ones in terms of revenue and Click-Trough Ratio noticed for each ad.
At the end, we display the ads that have the best potential in terms of revenue: they have a high revenue Per Click, or they have a high Click-Through Ratio, ideally both.
